Heather joined the Eastern Slopes team in 2020 after a career in film and television production. She is a graduate of the Thompson Rivers University Veterinary Technology program and has also earned a Diploma from SAIT and a Bachelor’s Degree from Queen’s University.

Originally from Whitehorse, Yukon, Heather moved to Southern Alberta for school and never left. She loves the mountains, big skies and Alberta sunshine, and is thrilled to be able to serve her adopted Foothills community as an RVT.

Heather lives near Millarville with her husband, three children, two dogs, three cats, and their growing ‘farmily’ that includes chickens, bees, and one day, miniature donkeys.
