Our Veterinarians
Eastern Slopes Veterinary Services is proud to provide veterinary care for both equine and livestock patients in both an in-clinic and on-farm basis. In 2024, ESVS added a modern and spacious large animal clinic to our already existing ambulatory practice in order to better fulfill the needs of our clients.
EQUINE SERVICES
On farm services with availability of fully equipped vehicles.
In-clinic services with a spacious and bright designated equine working area which includes stocks, two spacious stalls with soft stall flooring, a padded room for minor surgical procedures, and a long hallway for lameness examinations.
All regular equine veterinary services including dentistry, minor surgery, lameness evaluations, diagnostic imaging including digital radiography and ultrasound, and routine health and wellness.
Eastern Slopes Veterinary Services offers equine laboratory and CFIA accredited services including EIA (Coggin’s) testing, export certification, and CEM testing.
BOVINE SERVICES
On farm services with the availability of fully equipped vehicles and in-clinic services with a fully equipped and safe bovine handling area:
- Reproductive services including bull breeding soundness examination, obstetrics
and calving assistance, and pregnancy diagnosis with the use of ultrasound. - Individual animal and herd health consultation including an isolation facility for
hospitalization of calves. - A tipping hydraulic chute for the ability to safely perform bovine foot trimming
and other podiatry procedures.
Eastern Slopes Veterinary Services offers Laboratory and CFIA accredited services including BSE testing, export certification, AI center entry testing, EU GEP-free certification.
Pharmacy and Retail
A fully stocked pharmacy and ability to quickly order medications and supplies.
